Jewellery shoot at Evermore

So the shoot on Sunday was SO much fun! One minute I’m a jeweller and the next I’m ‘in charge’ of make up, clothes and hair on a photo shoot! Luckily the model was so gorgeous I couldn’t go far wrong. Anna Morgan was epic and brought her invaluable photographic expertise to our vision for the two collections , ‘Firebird’ and ‘Enchanted’. Our model, ( and niece!!!) Lauren rocked, she looked stunning and totally got into character for each shoot… So proud of her.. What a star !!!!
Al, our Creative Director pulled together amazing set , creating a backdrop for the photos which just made the pictures magical, his vision for the feel and atmosphere of the photos have really come to life!!!!
So, Anna is busy editing our favourite shots so watch this space!!!!!

Crow feet!

Making a start on our new jewellery cabinets..... forging steel bar into what should look like crows feet when they're done. Quite a way to go yet.

Our model for our photoshoot

This is our model on a Black Swan inspired photoshoot by Anna Morgan photography.....they are both coming next weekend to do our shoot for us....so excited!

Al spent the day making our new jewellery cabinets today..like to see a man forging a bit of red hot steel ha ha! They're going to look amazing!.....kinda crow like ??!!!!! And while he was busy with that I got to shop! ...clothes and props for the 'Enchanted' and 'Firebird' photoshoot next weekend....I love my job! More Enchanted finished today too...not all shopping! :)

Busy busy!

What a crazy busy week... Putting the finishing touches to our 'Enchanted' collection, ready for our big jewellery show in April... Our new collection 'Firebird' is nearly finished too... Just three more pieces to sort and then I get to make some new lockets and poison rings... Can't wait !

Hey!
I’m new to this so don’t judge me ( yet! ) …I talk alot so this really shouldn’t be a problem right?

I am a jewellery designer working from my lil workshop in sunny Dorset UK.
I have a dark side. I love to make things which reflect my dark but magical world. My collections are inspired by dark fairytales, illustrations from artists such as Arthur Rackham, Tim Burton, Brian Froud…Alan Lee…it’s endless, but you get the gist!

I have a real fascination with poison rings and lockets…secrets, wishes and hidden ‘surprises’ ..I love to combine beautifully dark oxidised silver with gorgeous gemstones like spectrolite and opals.
I also have a fascination with crows and ravens…they are just beautiful and clever and funny..Al, my husband and I spent all afternoon in Brompton graveyard last year taking photos of them messing about on the gravestones…brilliant!

So, hope this is interesting….
